Dear Supporters:
In August of 2001, Prairie
View A&M University Athletic Department embarked on a
fundraising campaign to raise ten million dollars to endow
athletic scholarships. This endowment will allow the
interest earned to fully fund athletic scholarships of all
18 sports for the life of the athletic program.
Consequently, a guaranteed source for scholarships will be
intact and this would ensure the programs ability to attract
quality student-athletes to participate in our
intercollegiate programs.
The Panther Backers have been
instrumental in the raising of over $280,000.00 to date and
they have developed this website to continue the mission of
endowing athletic scholarships.
There are
various levels of donations, all of which are tax deductible
(minus value of gift) and will be deposited directly to the
university Athletic Endowment Account Number 0-75464.
On behalf of
the Athletic Department at Prairie View A&M University and
the Panther Backers, I would like to say thank you for the
commitment you have shown to the athletic program.
