Dear Friends of Prairie View A & M University:
Excitement is all over the state of Texas as we anticipate the opening of the new multi dimensional Athletic Complex. We welcome the new football head coach, Heishma Northern. We thank Coach Frazier for his hard work and the contributions to Pantherland and the Panther Backers, as he turned the football program around with the culminating win of 2009 SWAC Championship, for the first time in forty-five years. We wish Coach Frazier luck in his new endeavor.
The Panther Backers joined by the Prairie View A&M Foundation will host the Annual Prairie View A & M University Golf Classic fundraiser. This fundraiser, through consistent support of former athletes, dedicated alumni donors and friends, has provided scholarship opportunities for several young men and women.
Our focus on scholarships is still a priority; however, this year's effort includes raising funds for the design and construction of a first-class multifunctional and multi-dimensional athletic complex. We need your continued support for such a massive undertaking.
The 16th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, June 27, 2011. It will be held at BLACKHORSE Golf Club, 12205 Fry Road, Cypress, Texas 77433,
