What is the registration deadline?
Registration is due by April 10, 2026. Spots are limited, so we encourage early registration.
What does my registration include?
Every registration includes 18 holes of golf with cart, range balls, breakfast and lunch, a swag bag, and entry to the awards ceremony.
Can I register as an individual or do I need a foursome?
Both! Individual golfers can register for $150 (Panther Sponsor). Foursomes can register together for $600. Individual golfers will be paired with other players.
What are the sponsorship levels?
We offer 8 sponsorship tiers ranging from $200 (Hole Sponsor) to $10,000 (Purple Sponsor). Each tier includes different visibility and recognition benefits. View all tiers above or contact us for details on any tier.
Is there a pre-tournament event?
Yes! Join us for the Pre-Golf Tournament Meet & Greet on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Quotes Restaurant in Houston. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow alumni and supporters.
Where do the proceeds go?
100% of tournament proceeds go directly to scholarships for Prairie View A&M University student-athletes. Your participation helps fund tuition, books, housing, and athletic equipment.
Can I participate if I’m not a golfer?
Absolutely! You can support Panther Backers through sponsorship at any level, attending the Meet & Greet, volunteering, or simply spreading the word. Contact us to learn about non-golf ways to get involved.
What is the tournament format?
The tournament uses a scramble format with a shotgun start at 8:00 AM. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. Mulligans may be purchased at the registration table (not valid for putts).
How do I pay?
You can register and pay online through our secure payment links on this page. For sponsorship tiers $1,600 and above, you can also reach out directly to arrange payment via check or money order payable to Panther Backers.
